Marjorie Sochr, R. Ac
As a Registered Nurse, I had many varied nursing positions, developing a specialization in the operating room, and particularly in open heart surgery. With this background, I have a very good understanding of the body both inside and out, and the challenges of trying to fix it when something goes amiss. While modern scientific medicine has a lot to offer, I believe that more can be done to help people achieve their best state of health.
The centuries old art and science of acupuncture came into my life during my personal health journey. Acupuncture has proven to be a logical and valuable adjunct to my knowledge base. After completing a three-year diploma program in Acupuncture at MacEwan University, I am able to offer clients the benefits of acupuncture and it’s ancient wisdom while recognizing the value of and working with modern medicine.
