Zero sugar doesn’t mean NO sugar

This post was inspired by a heated discussion I had with an acquaintance. He informed me that store bought mayo was a healthy food and is fine to consume when trying to lose weight. Now, I agree mayo traditionally has two ingredients – egg whites and olive oil. But these days if you peruse the ingredients list it reads very differently.

My response was mayo is full of sugar and additives and that is not supportive of a weight loss plan. He quickly cut and paste a mayo nutrition label to show me the 0g of sugar.

The Mother F**ker Gene aka MTHFR Gene

OK, so you may have heard of the MTHFR gene . There are numerous research done exposing this gene as the hidden cause of most health concerns that exist today.  The Abbreviation of its name – Methyl Tetrahydrofolate Reductase – has given it some interesting interpretations.  Like being referred to as the Monday, Thursday, Friday gene or the MotherF**ker gene.  Now, if you have had any of the following diseases or medical conditions listed below or know someone who has, then this gene could very well be the culprit to your misery and that is why theMotherF**ker monoker  is very fitting.

Perfect is the enemy of the good

Are you like me and have put off doing that thing you’ve  thought  of doing for a long time because you are not quite ready yet or the idea needs more work. You’ve had the idea but haven’t been able to execute it because you think you can’t possibly do it on your own.  Or you’ve worked at it for months or years. Doing a little bit here  and a little bit there. You are told your idea is brilliant. But for some reason it is not quite getting to a place you can produce it.
